What Can I Expect After an MRI Scan?
After your MRI scan, your set of images will be sent to our radiologists for review and interpretation. The radiologists at our MRI clinic will develop a report of their findings, and will send them to the physician who referred you for your MRI.
In most instances, an MRI does not trigger any reactions or complications. You will be free to return to your everyday activities. You should contact your referring physician immediately if you experience any abnormal pain or challenges of any kind. If you are breastfeeding during the time of your MRI scan, you should avoid doing so for one to two days and use a pump instead.
