Colin J. Przybylowski, M.D.

Dr. Przybylowski is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in neurosurgical oncology — the treatment of patients with benign and malignant tumors of the brain and spine.

Dr. Przybylowski has particular expertise in treating meningiomas, metastatic tumors, gliomas, and cavernous malformations. He has completed world-class training in techniques to safely remove these tumors from high-risk areas of the brain. This includes utilizing the most innovative technologies in the operating room, such as brain stimulation mapping and fluorescence-guided surgery. Dr. Przybylowski also utilizes stereotactic radiosurgery as a minimally-invasive treatment option in appropriate patients. He has published extensively on these topics in the neurosurgical literature with over 50 academic publications and book chapters.

Dr. Przybylowski earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He then completed his neurosurgery residency at the world-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ. During residency, he completed an enfolded brain and spine tumor fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

Dr. Przybylowski believes in comprehensive, multidisciplinary care of patients with brain and spinal tumors. He works extensively with radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and neurologists to find the safest and most effective treatment option for each patient, including non-surgical options.

In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, surfing, watching college basketball, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
