Job description
Raleigh Neurosurgical Clinic, Inc has been providing excellent neurosurgical care for the greater Raleigh area for over 65 years. Over the past several years we have added multiple providers with subspecialties including stroke intervention, endovascular, tumor surgery, microvascular decompression and complex spine surgery. In the last year, we have added an outpatient surgical center where we are able to do a variety of spinal procedures. In addition to the outpatient surgical center, we have also added a state-of-the-art biplane that is the first outpatient biplane in the US. Currently, we have 12 neurosurgeons and 10 advanced practice providers who work in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Oversee all day-to-day management operations of our Raleigh clinic
- Mentor and teach employees to be the best they can be, including routine, individual, regular meetings
- Hire and onboard new staff
- Ensure patients receive quality, specialized care
- Implement new systems to maximize productivity and meet new objectives
- Maintain clean facility
- Answer all questions and conflicts for patients
- Problem solve all dilemmas that arise with both patients as well as employees/staff in an assertive, diplomatic, politically correct manner
- Help staff maintain efficiency
- Monitor and keep all staff on time and effective
- Review provider documentation and medical records to ensure appropriate billing and content according to health law
- Create and maintain and atmosphere where employees enjoy and look forward to coming to work
- Maintain a team/family environment for all staff
- Review and approve timesheets; review time off and coordinate staffing to ensure all areas of the clinic are covered
- Order supplies for office
Qualifications
Previous medical office management experience required (min 3 years). Epic experience a plus!
